Statement: I
believe that people in pain need to be heard and listened to. Often,
they experience others as not understanding. I offer a safe,
professional environment where clients can feel heard and learn more
about themselves in hopes of creating richer and fuller lives. I
believe that therapy is most effective when the client and therapist
are both actively engaged.
I provide long term psychotherapy
and crisis intervention. My focus is insight oriented work to help
patients address deeper underlying pain and problems. Crisis
interventions are provided for life circumstances that arises
causing distress and pain for patients.
Focus upon treating people with
mood disorders. Assisting clients in creating deeper and more
meaningful relationships. It is hoped that through the process,
clients will eventually be able to feel more connected to themselves
and others.

am a licensed psychologist in clinical psychology with training in
long term insight oriented therapy. In addition to my practice, I am
an adjunct professor for graduate students. Moreover, I have trained
other mental health professionals in the area of suicide and crisis
interventions.
