Statement: I specialize in child, adolescent, couple,
and marital and family relationships using a cognitive therapy
approach to dismantle the 'black holes' that keep us stuck. I am
author of the book "Tears of the Heart" which describes
the ways children, adults and couples get stuck in unintended habits
and behaviors that lead us to a land of disbelief and conflict with
others and discontent within ourselves. My background includes over
25 years of professional experience as a licensed psychologist.
I have served as an Expert Witness to the courts of Chester CO., PA
been past director of several Mental Health Programs, Clinical
Director of an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center, and consultant to
numerous state and private organizations.
My approach is practical, focused and down-to-earth with the
specific intent of helping clients maximize their emotional
resources and minimize their emotional pain as they learn to resolve
their problems successfully.
