Statement: My work weaves together the wisdom of
Eastern spiritual teachings with contemporary views of
psychoanalytically-oriented relational psychotherapy. I also
integrate mindfulness based cognitive work and existential
perspectives.
Within the support of a contemplative environment, a therapy
relationship can help you explore your innermost concerns; help you
cultivate a deep sense of personal integrity and support your
ability to be self-reflective to help you find and live
authentically from your truths. With an attitude of gentleness and
compassion toward meeting all aspects of yourself, we can work to
develop your trust in what is being felt and experienced in the
moment.
We have all received conditioning...experiences from the past which
may be manifesting now. We may need to explore how old hurts my be
influencing your present inner dialogue and relationships in ways
you are unaware of and which may be preventing you from being in
relationship to yourself and others in ways that help you feel good
about how you are relating.
It is my hope that our work together will contribute to your
capacity to create deeply satisfying relationships in which mutual
respect, honesty and spiritual awakening are valued.
