Do you want hope, comfort, understanding, and peace of mind? Are you looking for a warm and caring person who is a good listener? Someone who is non-judgmental and helps guide you out of the darkness of depression and despair?

 A good therapist loves people and what he does - helping clients regain their hope.

 I can lead you back to yourself, give you the tools, and teach you how to make yourself feel better.

Services Offered: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been proven to work.

If you ask your doctor for his opinion, he or she will most likely refer you to a therapist who uses CBT to help you solve any mental health/behavioral concerns. It works even better in conjunction with the medications your doctor may prescribe.

Specialties:  I help adults (individuals and couples) with depression, anxiety, anger, addictions, career concerns, relationship/marriage problems, bi-polar, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD), alcohol and drug abuse, and issues that would best be described as “unhappiness, discontent, and stuck-ness.”

I also coach people seeking personal growth and excellence in their lives, careers, and creative endeavors.

Client profile:  M/F; Ages: 10 to adult. 

Payments/Conditions: My counseling fees range from $95/individual, $110/couple, to $130/intake per session. If you like, I can help you with the filing of insurance claims.

To help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you, I offer a 30-minute “consultation” for only $30. Later, I will deduct that amount from the $130 intake fee if you decide to pursue counseling with me.

 Coaching fees vary.

Credentials/Training:   I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/MHSP) with over 10 years of experience. I received my M.Ed. in Counseling from Vanderbilt University (1996). I am a certified Reality Therapist (Glasser), a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Mindful Coach, and a Life/Creativity Coach. I am a veteran (US Army), and a musician who continues to play professionally, part-time, with Don McLean.
