Anger therapy: a little anger can be a powerful catalyst for a better life. 
But letting it all out—or keeping it all in—can endanger you physically
and emotionally.

aggression can complicate matters. While some show their ire in
familiar ways, as being ill-tempered with a spouse or chewing out
a colleague who botched a project, others mask their hostility. 

That concealed rage may bubble up in the form griping, 
catty gossip, cutting remarks, sarcasm, temper tantrums, 
the silent treatment or writing people off with no explanation. 
Drinking, overeating and other addictions are also common 
ways of numbing our feelings and taking the edge off our anger.

Bottling up anger can have unhealthy repercussions. A University
of Pittsburgh School of Medicine study found that women who didn't deal with their anger 
were more likely to exhibit early signs of heart disease. Other research, found that people
who tried either to conceal their anger or externalize it by blaming others were at higher
risk for anxiety, tension and panic attacks
